Overview

In the executive search market, role descriptions are traditionally sent as plain text pdfs and the visual design is often a minor consideration in the service. However, we looked to champion our clients brand and produce highly custom borchure style briefs that championed our clients in the market.

Whilst well received in the market, accessibility issue with the pdfs being difficult to view on smaller screens became more pronounced, particularly as high-quality digital experiences became more and more common.

I looked to find an alternative that would improve the customer experience and find a solution to this increasing issue.

Solution

The new solution was to create a micro-site style format for each job description using Figma's live prototypes to enable user a fully interactive experience.

Easily readable on all devices. The new solution optimises for the recipients device - whether in the office on a desktop, or a travelling executive viewing on the go on mobile.
A central hub for resources. Alongside viewing the brief, candidates are able to download print optimised pdfs, as well as view any supporting materials provided by the client.
Videos and interactivity. By moving to a web based format, it allowed us the opportunity to embed videos to help immerse the candidate in the clients role, as well as interactivity to allow for a more intuitive process.
